“There is no room for wastefulness in Africa”
To plan a mission to the Moon without incorporating real science would be a terrible loss of an opportunity for Africa to both showcases its existing scientific and engineering prowess and to make a contribution to the scientific community.

The mission’s primary objective will be to transmit (video) images from the surface of, or in orbit around, the moon, that can then be relayed back and distributed via the internet (#Moon2Africa) into the classrooms in Africa thus inspiring our youth to believe in their own potential.
The mission will also provide a platform for one or more scientific experiments, to be defined by the scientific community. In this way the mission will also contribute to humankind’s knowledge of the moon and form part of Africa’s contribution to global space exploration activities.
